Adrenaline Rides
If fast is best, check out the Gum Tree Mountain Bike Park in Central Hawke's Bay. Consisting of a network of 30km mountain bike trails, this spot is picturesque and links to limestone trails that run alongside the Tukituki River.
There is a beginners course and one for the more daring (intermediate) riders, all nestled under the shade of the forest. There are some hills to climb but it's worth it for the wild ride back down and as you master the twists, turns and jumps you'll be heading back up for a repeat blast back down the trail!
