The Napier Art Deco Festival is one of New Zealand’s largest and most iconic events. This unique festival is recognised nationally and internationally as a bucket list event, attracting tens of thousands of participants from all over New Zealand and around the world.
As Art Deco week unfolds in Napier (the heart of the era), you will be blown away as locals and visitors step back in time and embrace the sophistication and style that was the 1920s.
From vintage cars lining the streets, deco dressed punters in high spirits, long lunches, big bands and swing dancers, you can't help but immerse yourself and fall in love with the annual festivities. 'Aero' Deco is not to be missed with the much anticipated flyover of vintage aircrafts, and as the sun sets, join the crowds in the Sound Shell along Marine Parade for a bite to eat and some entertainment.
