You are going to want to pack a picnic for this one!
The White Pine Bush Scenic Reserve is a hidden gem near Napier. The land is well preserved with massive Kahikatea trees (white pine) standing tall over the path.
The loop is roughly 1.6km's, with recent resurfacing making it accessible for wheelchairs and prams. You'll cross several bridges and educational panels as you make it to the top, where you can rest at picnic tables and have a bite to eat.
You'll discover a lovely stream and small waterfall on your way, with plenty of opportunities to enjoy the wildlife.
