This is a lovely 18 hole course in a rural setting, with some obstacles offering a challenge to the golfer. Views from the clubhouse are spectacular around sunset.
The Wairoa Golf course is 5.5kms north of the Information Centre, in State Highway 38. From the isite Visitor Centre, cross the Wairoa Bridge, turn left at the T intersection on to Māhia Avenue and then right onto SH38.
The Golf Course entrance is on the left approximately 4.5km from the Māhia Avenue intersection.
